About us

My name is Davide, but everyone knows me as Peck. I am a designer with a long experience in the world of 3D printing and generative algorithms applied to design.

Over the past decade, I have learned that 3D printing is only really effective in very specific contexts: when it comes to creating custom objects or when you need to make extremely complex shapes to achieve high performance.

Based on these observations, and thanks to the support of friends and colleagues, I began to think about a new way of using these technologies: no longer just to solve technical problems, but to communicate emotions in a unique, personal, and lasting way.

For a long time I tried to give concrete form to this idea. Until one day, during a conversation with a friend, he told me a story that had struck him, heard at the museum dedicated to Martin Luther King in Atlanta. It is said that King always gave a bouquet of roses to his wife before each trip, and before his last departure, he gave her a bouquet of synthetic roses telling her, “These will last forever.”

That image affected me deeply. It was the moment when I realized what object could really embody the desire to express emotions in an eternal way: flowers.

Thus was born SAYT - a project that aims to transform emotions into unique and lasting objects, to be given to the people we love most
